The year is 1669 - the place, La Bucca, a bustling pirate port out west in the Atabean. Here, gods rule the land and monsters rule the seas; pirates plunder and reap their riches from the colonists who dare to claim this place for their own, while the native Rahuri people continue their years-long campaign for their freedom from oppression. It is a land of magic, of action, of adventure on the high seas. But here, in the waning days of the year, the island is poised for a celebration. The new year celebration is three days away. And you, a lowly pirate from one of the many crews that call La Bucca home, are determined to get a date. Hey, stranger things have happened!

Plunder That Booty is a text-based pirate dating simulator set within the world of the TTRPG 7th Sea - an Age of Sail setting based on the real-life Caribbean islands during the Golden Age of Piracy. It has over 700k words total (though a typical playthrough is around 30k words!) and twelve characters, with multiple endings for each character - both romantic endings and platonic ones, depending on what the player chooses! Made in Twine over three years by a single, very tired writer, Plunder That Booty is the perfect game for those who want a little adventure in their lives, and who just want to run away to the high seas.

• Maybe you prefer Jack, the tall, dark, and handsome topman with a dark secret...and a connection to the god of death.
• Will it be One-Eyed Sal, the feisty redheaded captain who just wants to have fun - and score as much gold as she can?
• Perhaps the Sayyida al-Hurra, a stoic woman from the Far East with a fearsome reputation, whose friends are scarce and whose enemies are many?

Content Warnings

This game contains profanity, descriptions of combat and death, and the player character drinking alcohol. In the lore, there are mentions of slavery, colonialism, racism, and other topics typical to an Age of Sail setting. While this is a dating simulator, there is no explicit content - kissing is as far as you get. It is best enjoyed by people aged teen and up.
